Disclosure can happen anywhere, including the workplace. Co-workers and human resource representatives may be the first to learn someone at work is suffering from the effects of childhood sexual abuse and lack the knowledge and tools to support the individual at a time of crisis. This session will provide organizations with an understanding of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of trauma related to childhood sexual abuse, potential triggers in the workplace, and resources and support that can be offered. Improving employee satisfaction, retention, productivity, and workplace morale, and decreasing absenteeism and disability-related costs.
